The Home Energy Specialist at HomeWorks Energy is a field-based role that helps homeowners become more energy efficient by performing Mass Save Home Energy Assessments. You will model homes in energy efficiency software, diagnose usage issues, and recommend insulation and high-efficiency HVAC improvements.

This full-time, commission-based position offers paid training, travel to customer sites from home, weekly team meetings in Fairfield, CT, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation for travel.
• BPI certification a plus.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Mass Save program knowledge a plus.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening skills; English proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments.
• Model homes in energy efficiency software and generate reports.
• Recommend energy-saving measures such as insulation and high-efficiency HVAC.
• Initiate sale and secure service contracts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and educate homeowners on energy efficiency benefits.
• Organize and guide customers through paperwork processes.
• Install energy-saving products during assessments and travel to appointments.
• Collaborate with internal divisions to cross-sell products and services.
