Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is seeking a Home Energy Specialist to help homeowners improve energy efficiency by performing Mass Save assessments and modeling homes in energy software.

You will diagnose usage problems, recommend insulation and high-efficiency heating/cooling, and work in customers' homes across Massachusetts. The role includes paid training and substantial earning potential through commissions.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel required.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• MASS Save program knowledge a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Energy Assessment: Conduct Mass Save home energy assessments.
• Utilize energy efficiency software to model homes and generate reports.
• Recommend energy-saving measures such as insulation, LED lighting, and high-efficiency HVAC systems.
• Sales and Customer Service: Initiate sale and secure service contracts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and educate homeowners on energy efficiency benefits.
• Use effective sales techniques to ensure customer satisfaction and generate referrals.
