Job summary

HomeWorks Energy is seeking a Home Energy Specialist to help homeowners become more energy efficient by performing Energize CT energy assessments and modeling homes in energy efficiency software.

The role involves diagnosing energy usage, recommending savings measures such as insulation and high-efficiency HVAC, and collaborating with internal teams to cross-sell products. Requires strong communication, independent work in the field, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel.
• Energize CT program knowledge a plus.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Energize CT home energy assessments and model homes.
• Recommend energy-saving measures such as insulation and LED lighting.
• Initiate sales and secure service contracts; educate homeowners.
• Install energy-saving products during assessments and complete paperwork.
• Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell products and services.
