Job summary

The HomeWorks Energy Specialist conducts Mass Save home energy assessments, models homes with energy software, and identifies energy-saving improvements for homeowners. This role emphasizes customer education and accurate documentation in a field-based setting.

Based in Massachusetts, the position requires travel, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication. Training is provided, with a focus on energy efficiency and sales excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Valid MA driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel required.
• Previous customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Mass Save program knowledge a plus.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organization and time management skills.
• Must work independently as the role is primarily field based.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mass Save home energy assessments and model homes.
• Recommend energy-saving measures and explain benefits to homeowners.
• Initiate sales and secure service contracts; guide paperwork processes.
