Job summary

zTrip is seeking a Driver Road Manager to lead and support drivers in field operations, monitor performance, and uphold safety standards. You will coach drivers, respond to incidents, and ensure service reliability across the fleet.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, problem-solving in real time, and collaboration with dispatch and safety teams to optimize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using mobile technology, GPS systems, and communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a field resource for drivers needing operational assistance.
• Provide coaching on safety practices, customer service expectations, and company policies.
• Assist drivers with technology platforms, procedures, and operational questions.
• Support driver engagement, morale, and performance improvement efforts.
• Build strong working relationships with drivers through regular field interaction.
• Monitor service performance and identify operational challenges.
• Respond to service disruptions and implement effective solutions.
• Assist with resource allocation during peak service periods.
• Support operational coverage and continuity throughout the service area.
• Partner with dispatch and operations teams to maintain service standards.
• Conduct ride-alongs, field observations, and driver evaluations.
• Promote compliance with safety standards and transportation regulations.
• Coordinate with management and safety teams during investigations.
