Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Mobile Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light and advanced repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, cooling and engine systems on trucks and coordinate with customers to meet their needs.

Qualifications

• Experience performing DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on light to heavy vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical/electrical systems in mobile settings.
• Strong attention to safety, OSHA/DOT compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, engine, and hydraulic systems on trucks.
• Document work in the TRAIT app and complete DOT paperwork accurately.
