Job summary

Zoetis, Inc. seeks a Diagnostics Solutions Consultant to sell diagnostic instruments, tests and services within a U.S. sales territory.

This field-based, customer-facing role builds and maintains relationships to maximize customer retention and achieve budgeted quotas. The DSC travels up to 60–70% across the territory, demonstrates solutions, documents interactions in the CRM, and collaborates with Diagnostics colleagues to ensure exceptional service and growth in both veterinary and clinical

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of demonstrated sales experience or relevant technical/clinical experience.
• Minimum of an associate's degree (bachelor's degree preferred), preferably with a science or business emphasis, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Diagnostic products and services.
• Travel to customer offices with target 3–4 existing customers and 3–4 new opportunities per day; extensive driving and overnight travel.
• Provide detailed documentation of all customer and prospect interactions via the online system.
• Transport equipment to customer locations and demonstrate diagnostic solutions.
• Explain uses and benefits of products; answer questions and convey the value proposition.
• Secure purchase orders and provide ongoing customer support by phone, email, and in person.
