Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks a skilled bug hunter to own end-to-end debugging across subsystems, including hardware-in-the-loop work, field anomaly analysis, and CI-driven fixes for fleet software.

You’ll reproduce issues from real sensor data, map symptoms to root causes, and push robust software fixes in Rust, C++, Python, or Go. This role requires strong debugging intuition, cross-team collaboration, and willingness to travel 25%+ to support field deployment.

Qualifications

• Real experience debugging code under time pressure with incomplete information.
• Comfort with at least two of Rust, modern C++, Python, Go to read and fix bugs.
• Systems-debugging instincts: pull logs and metrics, reconstruct what happened.

Responsibilities

• Take a field-reported anomaly and identify the correct subsystem rather than the report origin.
• Reproduce issues using recorded sensor/mission data and visualize results.
• Use existing metrics/logs to reconstruct system state at failure moments.
