Job summary

Anduril Maritime seeks a seasoned engineer to chase field anomalies in autonomous vessels. You’ll reproduce issues, identify the real subsystem, and ship fixes with tests and proper root-cause documentation.

You'll work across subsystems, use metrics/logs, and verify fixes in hardware-in-the-loop before deployment to vehicles. Expect travel and deep systems-debugging in a hands-on environment with modern cyber-physical tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience debugging code under time pressure with incomplete information.
• Proficiency in at least two of Rust, C++, Python, or Go.
• Strong systems-debugging instincts using logs and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Reproduce field-reported anomalies and identify the responsible subsystem.
• Replay data through the live pipeline and visualize results.
• Use per-service metrics and logs to reconstruct system state.
• Verify fixes in hardware-in-the-loop before real vehicles.
• Write fixes with tests and document root causes.
