Anduril Industries seeks a systems-focused debugger for Anduril Maritime to diagnose field anomalies, reproduce against live and recorded data, and identify the responsible subsystem. You will fix real issues across Rust, C++, Python or Go, using observability tools and CI to ship changes.

Travel and close collaboration with hardware teams are expected. You’ll own bug investigations from diagnosis to delivery, with an emphasis on end-to-end correctness and clear root-cause documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Real experience debugging code under time pressure with incomplete information.
• Proficiency in at least two of Rust, modern C++, Python, or Go.
• Systems-debugging instincts: read logs and metrics, reconstruct what happened.
• Linux and systems fluency; exposure to declarative OS setups (NixOS-style).

Aufgaben

• Take a field-reported anomaly and figure out which subsystem it's in.
• Reproduce it in real conditions and replay recorded data.
• Use metrics/logs to reconstruct system state at incident time.
• Confirm fixes in simulated or hardware-in-the-loop environments.
• Write fixes in the actual subsystem language with tests and CI.
• Identify root cause and fix at the correct layer, not patching symptoms.
• Document root cause and fix for each closure to improve future reliability.
• Push back to owning teams when a broader subsystem change is needed.
