Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–15 years of experience in data center operations or similar technical environment with direct customer interaction.
• Strong hands-on experience with connectorized fiber optic cabling (single-mode/multi-mode), LC, fan-outs, structured cabling.
• Experience with optical testing and transport troubleshooting.
• Ability to multitask, stay composed under pressure, and work in high-availability environments.
• Commitment to safety standards and operational best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits of work at customer data centers and provide feedback to technicians.
• Interact with customers via ticketing tools or in-person, delivering clear reports.
• Assist with fiber installation, decommissioning, break/fix, and migrations across data center environments.
• Perform and supervise optical testing using meters, sources, VFLs, OTDRs, and test sets.
• Read cut sheets and network diagrams to ensure correct connections and cabling.
