Job summary

Atlas Field Services seeks an experienced Customer Support - Contract Forester to join our Utility Vegetation Management team. The role centers on resolving vegetation-related customer conflicts as the front-line liaison among utilities, contractors, landowners, and the public, while supporting work planning and QC when capacity allows.

In Texas and Louisiana, you will inspect trees for hazard potential, document interactions, and coordinate with clients and crews to ensure timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) or closely related fields.
• Active ISA Certified Arborist certification highly desired.
• Strongly preferred certifications/qualifications: TRAQ, ISA Utility Specialist, BCMA.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for conflict resolution.
• Proven ability to multitask and work effectively outdoors in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated point of contact for customer complaints and conflict resolution.
• Track and document interactions in Fulcrum and maintain a complete record for every case.
• Prioritize incoming complaints by severity and drive issues to closure with contractors.
• Investigate and resolve concerns related to property damage, tree work, and reimbursements.
• Collaborate daily with clients, contractors, landowners, stakeholders, and the public.
• Support emergency and storm response operations according to safety protocols.
• Promote and uphold a strong safety culture in outdoor environments.
• Inspect and evaluate trees for hazard potential using TRAQ methodologies.
• Perform Work Planner duties, document units with photos, and create executable work records.
• Conduct Quality Control audits for planning and mitigation work.
