Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration and construction oversight on client projects. Work occurs in the field, at times in the office, with travel for heavy industrial sites.

Responsibilities include scheduling, daily/quality reports, coordination with subcontractors, and ensuring drawings and revisions are followed. The role requires strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Construction management, engineering or related discipline required at degree level.
• Experience coordinating field operations and reporting.
• Knowledge of safety, quality control and scheduling practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist site construction lead with scheduling, daily and quality reports and conformance to drawings.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and adherence to plans.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for records.
• Take progress photos and label each image for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design revisions are used.
• Support Project Construction Manager and could lead key trades or subcontractors.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear correspondence with project management and clients.
