Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration and construction management at client sites. You will work in the field with project teams on heavy industrial projects and coordinate with subcontractors and field staff.

Responsibilities include daily reports, quality inspections, progress tracking, and ensuring drawings are current.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline with three (3) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Assist site construction lead with scheduling and daily reports.
Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and accuracy of drawings.
Ensure adherence to the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports with site supervision.
Take progress photographs and label each image for records.
Support Monthly Progress Reports with the project team.
Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions.
Assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
Maintain on-site records per document control requirements.
