Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to work in the field at client project sites. The role covers field engineering, site administration, estimating, quality control, and safety oversight under general supervision.

You will coordinate with the site construction lead, oversee subcontractors, prepare daily and monthly reports, and ensure drawings and specifications are followed. Heavy travel and field emphasis are required.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant field construction experience.
• Solid understanding of drawings, specs and QA/QC processes.
• Ability to travel nationwide to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on overall field operations, scheduling and daily/quality reports.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and alignment with drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review and record keeping.
• Capture progress photos and label them for documentation.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design drawings are used.
• Support Project Construction Manager and coordinate trades as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with client approvals.
