Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, and quality control on client projects. Work is conducted in the field or office with supervision, primarily at field sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the field construction lead, overseeing subcontractors, maintaining schedule adherence, and generating daily/quality reports.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 (preferred)
• 100% field work across US project sites
• Strong ability to read drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

• Assist site construction lead with scheduling, daily and quality control reports, and conformance to drawings and specs.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs and properly label each photo.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions.
• Support the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May be responsible for key trades or subcontractors in support of the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per document control requirements.
• Understand and follow the Quality Policy and Systems Work Instructions.
• 100% travel required to field locations.
