Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and coordination at client project sites.

You will support scheduling, quality control, daily reports, progress photos, and safety adherence, working under general supervision in the field or office depending on project. This role requires 100% field involvement nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with site construction lead on scheduling, daily and quality control reports, drawings conformance and subcontractor communications.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality and alignment with drawings and plans.
• Maintain project schedule adherence; escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the project team.
• Take progress photographs and label them for records and review.
• Support Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design revisions are used on site.
• Assist Project Construction Manager and possibly supervise key trades as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Provide clear correspondence with management and clients to resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain on-site records per document control requirements.
• Adhere to The Perry Group Quality Policy and quality system instructions.

Education

High school diploma + 9 years of relevant experience
