Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating and quality control on client projects. This role is 100% in the field, with travel across project sites in the heavy industrial sector.

Responsibilities include coordinating field operations, overseeing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and preparing daily and monthly reports while ensuring adherence to drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Nine years of relevant construction field experience.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related discipline; or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating field operations and document control processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on scheduling and daily/quality reports.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and conformance to drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate potential delays to leadership.
• Prepare daily and quality inspection reports for records.
• Capture and label progress photographs of construction events.
• Assist with monthly progress reports and client communications.
• Ensure use of latest design revisions on site.
• Support Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Assist in preparing contract extras and progress payments.
• Maintain on-site records per document control requirements.
