Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and construction support on client projects across the United States. Work is conducted in the field with supervision from the site construction lead and Project Construction Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, producing daily/quality reports, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring safety and conformance to drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant construction experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field operations with the site construction lead and manage scheduling and daily/quality reports.
• Oversee subs to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings and specs.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for record keeping.
• Take progress photos and label each image for documentation.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and contract extras.
• Ensure latest design revisions are used in construction.
• May support the Project Construction Manager.
• May supervise key trades/subcontractors.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate clearly with management and clients on project issues.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith requirements.
• Follow Quality Policy and work instructions.
