Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, and quality control on client projects. This role is 100% field-based, with travel across the United States and direct supervision by the Project Construction Manager.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the site construction lead, overseeing subcontractors, maintaining daily and quality reports, and ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on field operations, scheduling, daily/quality reports, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports.
• Take progress photos and label them for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design revisions are used.
• Support project management with contract extras and progress payments.
• Maintain on-site records per company document control requirements.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 9 years experience in Construction Management/related

Associate degree + 6 years experience in Construction Management/related

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years experience in Construction Management/related
