Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to support field operations at client project sites. The role covers field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, quality control and safety oversight under general supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating with site construction leads, overseeing subcontractors, maintaining project records, and producing daily/quality reports while traveling to field locations as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports and quality control.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedule and escalate delays as needed.
• Prepare daily reports and quality inspection reports for review and recordkeeping.
• Take progress photographs and label them for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure use of latest design drawing revisions on site.
• Provide support to Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May lead key trade or subcontractor activities in the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval.
