Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is recruiting an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and project controls at client sites across the United States. This role requires hands-on field work 100% in the field with substantial coordination of subcontractors and daily/quality reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree plus three years.
• Degree fields: Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on overall field operations including scheduling and reporting.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedule and contract drawings.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for project records.
• Capture progress photographs and label each image for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and design changes through the Project Manager.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• Provide support to Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Assist with contract extras and progress payments for client approval.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith document control requirements.
