Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, design and construction tasks, and quality control on client projects. This role involves coordinating with the site construction lead, subcontractors, and management to keep projects on track and compliant with specifications.

Work is conducted in the field or office as needed, with heavy emphasis on safety, documentation, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist site construction lead with project scheduling and daily reports.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and conformance with drawings.
• Ensure all work adheres to the established project schedule and escalate delays.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with management.
• Take progress photographs and label each photograph.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• May be responsible for key trade/subcontractor support.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with Project Manager.
• Provide clear correspondence with project management and clients.
