Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration and construction management at client project sites in the United States.

This role focuses on coordinating with field leads on scheduling, quality control, and documentation, with work performed in the field or office under general supervision; travel to project sites is 100%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9 years of related field experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years of related experience in construction management.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related experience in CM/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on scheduling, daily/QC reports and drawings conformance.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and drawing intent.
• Maintain project schedules; escalate delays to the Construction Manager.
• Write Daily and Quality Inspection Reports for review with management.
• Capture progress photos and label each image for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design revisions are used.
• Support Project Construction Manager as needed and liaise with clients.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear, professional project correspondence and on-site records.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + nine (9) years of relevant experience

Associate degree + six (6) years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree + three (3) years of relevant experience
