Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, safety, and quality control on client projects. Work is in the field at client project sites under general supervision.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the site construction lead, overseeing subcontractors, maintaining daily and quality reports, and assisting the Project Construction Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree plus three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist site construction lead with field operations including scheduling, daily/quality reports, and conformance to drawings.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and drawing intent is met.
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule and escalate delays to the PM.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead/PM.
• Take progress photographs and label each image.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions.
• May assist Project Construction Manager in project tasks.
• Support key trade/subcontractors as needed for the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Provide clear correspondence with management and clients on project issues.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith document control requirements.
• Follow the Quality Policy and Quality Systems Work Instructions.
• Note: position is 100% in the field at project sites across the United States.
