Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to operate in the field at client project sites across heavy industrial projects in the United States.

Responsibilities include field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, quality control, safety compliance, and coordination with subcontractors. This role is 100% field-based with extensive travel and direct interaction with project management teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9+ years in field construction.
• Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in Construction Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on overall field operations.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings.
• Maintain schedule adherence and escalate delays to management.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as records.
• Take progress photographs and label each image for records.
• Support Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest drawing revisions are used.
• Assist Project Construction Manager as needed and coordinate with clients.
