Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and support for design, construction, estimating, scheduling, safety, and quality control on client projects. Work can be field- or office-based depending on project needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating field operations, supervising subcontractors, maintaining schedules and records, and preparing daily and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• Requires field engineering knowledge and strong site administration skills.
• Experience with quality control reports, drawings, specs, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficiency in scheduling, daily reports, and progress tracking on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with site construction lead on field operations and scheduling.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with the project schedule and escalate delays if needed.
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for records.
• Take progress photos and label each image for documentation.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawings.
• Provide support to Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Support key trades/subcontractors as required for project success.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate project issues clearly with management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per document control requirements.
• Follow the Quality Policy and related work instructions.
• 100% travel to project sites nationwide.
