Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, and coordination on client projects. The role is 100% in the field, across project sites, with direct supervision and defined responsibilities.

Key duties include preparing daily and quality reports, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring safety and schedule adherence, and maintaining project records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• OSHA 30 preferred for site safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on overall field operations, scheduling, daily reports, quality control and drawings conformances.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality and alignment with drawings.
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leadership, becoming record documents.
• Take progress photos and label each image for documentation and tracking.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design revisions are used.
• Support Project Construction Manager with scope and contract extras, and prepare contractual correspondence with clients.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith document control requirements.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 9 years relevant experience

Associate degree + 6 years relevant experience
