Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, safety adherence, and quality control for assigned projects. The role is 100% in the field at client project sites and may operate from field or office depending on the project.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on field operations including scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, and conformance to drawings and specs.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings.
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review and record-keeping.
• Take progress photos and label each photograph for record.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• Provide support to the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May be responsible for key trade/subcontractor management.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith requirements.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 9 years of relevant experience
