Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is looking for an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and estimating on client projects. You will coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, quality control, and daily reports, while supervising subcontractors to ensure safety and adherence to drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with nine years of relevant field experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline with three years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, quality control, and conformance to drawings.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with drawings.
• Maintain the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review.
• Take progress photos and label each photo.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design revisions for construction.
• Provide support to the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Assist with key trade/subcontractor coordination for the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate project issues clearly with management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per The Perry Group requirements.
• Follow The Perry Group Quality Policy and work instructions.
• Travel to project sites: 100% of the time.

Education
