Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to support field operations at client project sites. You will perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, safety adherence, and quality control under general supervision.

Work may be performed in the field or office depending on project needs, with heavy travel. The role emphasizes coordination with subcontractors, documentation, and ensuring drawings and specifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting and coordinating with the site construction lead on overall field operations including scheduling, daily reports, quality control, conformance to drawings and specifications, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and aligns with drawings’ intent.
• Ensures adherence to the project schedule; escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Takes progress photographs of construction events and labels each photograph.
• Assists with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revision.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• May be responsible for key trade or subcontractor support.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval with Project Manager.
• Maintains proper project correspondence and on-site records per policy.
• Understands and follows The Perry Group Quality Policy and related instructions.
• Travel: 100%
