Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional for field-based work at client project sites in the heavy industrial sector. You will support site construction leads with scheduling, reporting, quality control, and documentation to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, maintaining daily/quality reports, and ensuring use of current drawings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, conformances to drawings and specs, and subcontractor communications.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and aligns with drawings' intent.
• Ensure all work adheres to the established project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager and file as record documents.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label and identify each photo.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports for project tracking.
• Ensure that contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May provide assistance to the Project Construction Manager.
• May be responsible for key trade or subcontractor in support of the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
