Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and project support at client project sites. Work may occur in the field or office depending on project needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the site construction lead on scheduling, reports, quality control, and subcontractor oversight, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on field operations, including scheduling, daily reports, quality control, drawings conformity, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings.
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule and escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review by site leads and PMs.
• Take progress photos of construction events and label them accordingly.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design drawing revision is used.
• Provide support to Project Construction Manager and perhaps oversee key trades/subcontractors.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with PM.

Education
