Job summary

The Intermediate Construction Professional performs field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, quality control, safety adherence and technical direction under general supervision, with duties performed in the field or office as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, QC reports, drawings conformity, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with the project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Draft Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review and recordkeeping.
• Take progress photographs and label each photograph for records.
• Assist site construction lead or PM with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions for construction.
• May provide assistance to the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May oversee key trades or subcontractors in support of the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear, professional correspondence with project management and clients.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent with nine years of relevant experience

Associate degree with six years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience (Construction Management or related)
