Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is a design-build and construction management firm involved in field projects across the United States. The Intermediate Construction Professional will perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, quality control, and safety support for assigned projects at client sites.

Work is performed under general supervision, with potential field or office assignment depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily/quality reports and communications with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and adherence to drawings.
• Maintain the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for record keeping.
• Take progress photographs and label them.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design drawings are used.
