Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to work in the field at a client project site. The role involves field engineering, site administration, estimating, quality control, scheduling, safety adherence and technical direction under general supervision.

You will coordinate with the site construction lead, oversee subcontractors, maintain records, produce daily and monthly reports, and ensure drawings/ specifications are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 9 years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree and 6 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist site construction lead with the overall field operations including scheduling, daily reports, quality control, conformity to drawings and specifications, and coordination with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings and project goals.
• Ensure adherence to the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Take progress photographs of construction events and label each photograph.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors are using the latest design drawing revision.
• May provide assistance to the Project Construction Manager.
• May be responsible for key trade/subcontractor in support of the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Provide proper correspondence with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records and files per Quality Policy.
• Understand and follow Quality Systems Work Instructions.
• 100% travel as required by project.
