Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to work in the field at client project sites. You will perform fundamental to moderately complex field engineering, site administration, estimating, quality control, scheduling, safety adherence, and technical direction under general supervision.

This role requires coordination with site construction leads, oversight of subcontractors, maintaining on-site records, preparing daily and monthly reports,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with nine years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on the overall field operations, including scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, conformances to drawings and specifications, and communication with subcontractors as required.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and aligns with drawings’ intent.
• Ensure adherence to the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports with site leadership.
• Take progress photographs and label them for records.
• Assist in Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design drawing revisions are used for construction.
• May assist the Project Construction Manager or be responsible for key trade/subcontractor coordination.
