Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, design and construction, estimating, and quality control on client projects. The role is 100% in the field, with work often centered at project sites across the United States.

You will support the site construction lead, coordinate with subcontractors, ensure drawings and specs are followed, and contribute to progress and quality documentation including daily and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum nine years of relevant construction field experience with a high school diploma.
• Associate degree plus six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on field operations, scheduling, and daily/quality reports.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings.
• Maintain project schedules and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review.
• Document progress with photos and contribute to Monthly Progress Reports.
