CDM Smith is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to work in the field at a client project site. The role covers field engineering, site administration, estimating, quality control, scheduling, and safety support under general supervision.

The position involves field work, with travel across the United States and potential work from site or office depending on project needs. You will coordinate with the site lead and manage daily and progress reports along with quality control tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with substantial field construction experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree with relevant construction-related experience preferred.
• Experience in construction management, engineering or related discipline is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, quality control reports, and conformity to drawings and specifications for subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings and intent of the project.
• Ensure work aligns with the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review and filing as record documents.
• Maintain on-site records and ensure use of the latest design drawing revisions.
