Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, and safety support on client projects. The role is 100% field-based, working at project sites with oversight from the site construction lead.

You will coordinate daily reports, quality checks, and ensure drawings and specifications are followed. Travel across the United States is required to support heavy industrial client projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the site construction lead on field operations including scheduling, daily/quality reports and conformance to drawings.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and alignment with drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with the site lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Capture progress photographs and label them for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure use of latest drawing revisions.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Provide professional communications with project management and clients.
