Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, and quality control on client project sites.

The role operates 100% in the field with travel across the United States. You will coordinate with subcontractors, prepare daily and quality reports, and ensure drawings and materials are up to date while maintaining safety and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on field operations, including scheduling, daily/quality reports, conformance to drawings and specs, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site leadership.
• Take progress photos and label each, documenting site progress.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design drawings are used.
• May provide support to Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May supervise key trades/subcontractors to support the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments in cooperation with the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear, concise project communications with management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per The Perry Group document control requirements.
• Adhere to The Perry Group Quality Policy and related procedures.
• Travel expected: 100%.
