Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and construction management on client projects.

This role is 100% in the field, requiring coordination with subcontractors, daily reporting, and adherence to drawings and specifications. Travel across project locations is expected, with responsibility for safety and quality control on heavy industrial sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on overall field operations including scheduling and daily/quality control reports.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure work is safe, correct and meets quality control measures.
• Maintain project schedules and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare daily reports and quality inspection reports for review with project leadership.
• Take progress photographs and maintain proper labeling for records.
