Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, and QA/QC support at client project sites in the United States. The role requires coordinating with the field lead on scheduling, reporting, and ensuring drawings and specs are followed.

This field‑heavy position involves travel nationwide (100%), working in the field 100% of the time, and providing direction to subcontractors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree with 6 years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related.
• Must be able to work at project locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with field lead on scheduling, daily reports, quality reports, conformances to drawings, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure work is safe, correct, and meets quality control measures and drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write daily reports and quality inspection reports; maintain record documents.
• Maintain on-site records and progress photos; prepare monthly progress reports.
