Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, design and construction tasks, estimating, scheduling, and quality control on client projects.

Work is conducted in the field at a client site or in the office, depending on project needs, with potential 100% field work. Travel is required across the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist site construction lead with scheduling, daily reports, quality control, and coordination with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Maintain the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for records.
• Take progress photos and label them for documentation.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawings.
• Provide correspondence with project management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per document control requirements.
