Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a highly motivated Intermediate Construction Professional to perform essential field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, and quality control on client projects. This role is 100% in the field, reporting to the Project Construction Manager and collaborating with subcontractors to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on scheduling, daily reports, QC reports, conformance to drawings and specifications, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Maintain project schedules and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as records.
• Take progress photographs and label each photo appropriately.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawings.
• Support the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May supervise key trades or subcontractors on the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate project issues clearly and professionally with management and clients.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith documentation standards.
