Job summary

Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Clinical Account Specialist in Houston to support the launch and growth of its first wholly owned commercial product, focusing on tailoring engagement with cardiometabolic care providers and patient pathways.

You will educate HCPs, build strong hospital and office-based relationships, and drive territory plans to expand access and improve patient outcomes while ensuring compliant, ethical interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years of pharma sales experience.
• Experience with new product launches is a plus.
• Account-based selling and cross-functional collaboration required.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs and staff about sHTG disease state, diagnostic pathways, and urgent treatment priorities.
• Develop and execute territory plans to maximize opportunities and patient access.
• Represent Ionis in conferences and scientific meetings with healthcare professionals.
