Job summary

Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Clinical Account Specialist to support the launch and ongoing growth of our first wholly owned product, expanding beyond FCS to severe hypertriglyceridemia.

The CAS will engage key customers, build strong relationships, and develop territory plans to improve patient access and outcomes. The role requires deep cardiovascular and lipid disease knowledge, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to ethics and compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of pharma sales experience.
• Proven ability to launch new products and manage sales territories.
• Strong KOL engagement and account management experience.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record.
• Experience in cardiology, endocrinology, or lipid-related diseases.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs and office staff on sHTG disease state and treatment options.
• Develop and execute territory plans to maximize opportunities.
• Engage in conferences and scientific meetings to educate HCPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to advance Ionis goals.
