Job summary

Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Alexandria, LA seeks a Clinical Account Specialist to support launch and growth of our first wholly owned product.

You will engage physicians and care teams within cardiometabolic care, build strong healthcare relationships, and develop territory plans with cross-functional teams to optimize patient outcomes. This field-based role requires a track record in pharma sales, deep clinical knowledge, and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration as Ionis expands

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Pharma sales across the following competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience with New Product launches and HCP engagement is essential.

Responsibilities

Educate HCPs and office staff to raise sHTG disease state awareness and prioritise treatment.
Create positive prescribing experiences with value-added materials and patient support programs.
Participate in conferences and meetings to educate HCPs on sHTG state and treatment.
Build and execute customer-focused territory strategic plans to maximize opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on brand messaging and customer engagement.
