Job summary

Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. seeks a Clinical Account Specialist in Jackson, MS to support the launch and growth of its first wholly owned commercial product. The CAS will engage physicians, hospitals and care networks to expand access and optimize patient care for severe lipid disorders.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, field-based execution, and a data-driven approach to strategic account planning in a hybrid/remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and valid U.S. driver’s license.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Experience launching new products and account-based selling.
• Strong knowledge of cardiology, endocrinology, and lipid diseases.
• Established relationships with KOLs and major accounts.
• Ability to analyze market data and develop territory strategies.

Responsibilities

• Educate and engage HCPs to raise sHTG disease state awareness and treatment options.
• Build and execute territory strategic account plans to maximize opportunities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement customer engagement programs.
• Represent Ionis at conferences and scientific meetings to educate HCPs.
