Job summary

Jani-King International, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive new client opportunities through cold calls, territory canvassing, and in-person visits.

You will introduce Jani-King's services to local businesses, qualify opportunities, and set appointments for our sales executives. This role blends fieldwork with in-office planning, requiring strong communication, organization, and self-motivation to manage daily territory activity and build lasting relationships with

Qualifications

• Sales, business development or prospecting experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to meet activity goals and perform in a performance-based environment.
• Strong communication skills to engage business decision-makers and represent the brand effectively.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently while managing daily territory activity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume prospecting to generate new opportunities through cold calls, in-person visits, and networking events.
• Introduce Jani-King's services to business leaders and identify opportunities where our solutions add value.
• Plan and execute daily territory prospecting routes to maximize coverage and identify high-potential prospects.
• Represent Jani-King at local business events, networking groups, trade shows, and chamber activities to grow brand visibility.
• Schedule qualified meetings for the sales team and document insights in the CRM.
